Jill Pilgrim, a corporate and sports industry attorney and business adviser, will be honored by the Columbia Law School Black Law Student Association at its PAUL ROBESON GALA, on February 1, 2018. The theme of the Black History Month Celebration is The Way Forward: Living in Power. Event organizers stated “[t]he media often focuses on Black death. We want to change the paradigm and celebrate the resilience and vitality of Black life. Honoree Pilgrim ‘84, is Acting Executive & General Counsel of the Track & Field Athletes Association, Inc. (TFAA) and principal owner of Pilgrim & Associates law firm. Also, to be honored is Aisha Greene ’04, the Bureau Chief of the Alternatives to Incarceration Bureau at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office and former Director of Brooklyn Justice Initiatives (BJI), who will deliver the keynote address.
